Angles

This morning in math we investigate the angles of triangle. Firstly I drawed a equilateral triangi soon as I was done I have went straight on with my next step.  We then cutted out our Equilateral triangle from their I have then had to  tore off the corners from my triangle.We used our conners and placed it on an straight line I'v then did the same with my next  isosceles angle. From this I have learnt that all our connors had all added up to 180 degrees.

WALHT: Apply the formula to find the area and perimeter of given shapes.

30 x 2=60cm
80 x 2=160cm
160 + 60 =220cm

80 x 30 = 2400cm

In this Investigation I had to use my multiplication skills to find the area of this rectangle!

The writer very cleverly uses the phrase ‘Don’t get caught’ in the beginning of advertisement and repeats the same phrase throughout the advertisement and ends the advertisement to maintain the audience's attention.  

The author uses This little angel... ‘ to introduce this girl as an innocent child.

The writer says ‘‘People can’t resists the double coated creamy egg chocolate... ‘ because the fact it has double coated chocolate that makes the audience more engaged to their product.

The advertisement gives a sense of urgency to buy the product because the advertisement says that the chocolate is irresistible.

Favourite place

My favourite place to go to is  Mount Eden Stadium because I like watching all the rugby teams play. The cool thing about it is that you can take photos of yourself and the rugby player and have opportunities to shake hands with all the rugby stars.You meet new people and make a few new friends there if you're cheering for the same team.You see cool as tackles and bump offs.

A bump off happens when a player with the ball is running and then another player can hit them with their shoulder to make them lose focus and maybe fall down -  it is legal!

I like it when the crowd is cheering for the other team and how the crowd sometimes gets angry when their team is losing.  When this happens the teams play harder.

The teams I follow are the Warriors,Roosters and Rabbitohs.

Roll the Dice

Our teacher gave us a game to play it was roll the dice  we had to 8 times and put in our numbers Google spread sheet and add the all up.My highest number was 12 and lowest number was 2 and the most common number was 6.

My Holiday

I woke up full of excitement and got ready to leave home about 8.30 in the morning. After that I walked down to my cousins house just down the road. Just as I arrived, they are about to leave their house to come and pick me up. We waited for more of our family to arrive and about half an hour later loaded into the car. We left the house and I looked out the window with a grin on my face. After a long drive, I got out of the car like a man just with my tank top and shorts on, ready to play. When we arrived at the Paint Ball, we paid our entry fee and the people there went to get all our paint ball guns ready. We had to wait for a while because there was about 50 people waiting in the line. The man called us to all put our masks on. He took in 1 team at a time to the area where we are going to play. I got separated from my family, but that was ok. My attention was focused on the man who had begun the countdown for the start. “321!” he said. It was ACTION! We hid around the tyres in the house. I hid next to the tyres and started shooting at the other team. Sad to say, I got shot! We played about 5 more games. The last one was the best because it was free for all. When I joined the game paintballs was just all over the place so i just camped inside a house and decided to let others have a go.

New Me

Kia ora, It’s Johnny and I am back!  I still like math but now I like to do writing in class. I have grown a bit taller and a bit older . I have made new friends and I am ready to learn!  Follow my learning journey.
