Rosary

 I have being learning about the Rosary, I know that Saint Dominic  started the Rosary and the Rosary has 5 mysteries.The mysteries are 5 stories about Jesus's life.I know I have learnt this when I have made a blog post and made my own rosary beads. This is what it looks like.

How has having a net book, connected to the internet, helped my learning this year?

having a net book helps me with my learning and  thing I don’t know And in room 5 you have to hold your  net book  with two hands. And did you know if you do work and you close your net book it will still be saved.you can put work on your blog and you can look on Google to find out information  and if you need to spell a word you can look at online Dictionary.  

We are learning about the people of Advent. Prophet Isaiah is one of them. I know  have learnt this when I know what Isaiah wrote. My picture shows what prophet Isaiah said that God was going to do. Isaiah said The wolf and lamb will live together. this means everybody will live in peace

Dear Helping God

Thank you God for creating Purgatory for the people who have died.

Please forgive the people who have sinned on earth and gone to Purgatory help them to be the best they can and to be like God.

Please help the people in Purgatory to get in Heaven.

In Room 5 we are learning about constellations.A constellation's are made out of star's that make a picture of something.I have learnt this when I have made my own constellation. This is the constellation of Orion that I made.

My Goals

My goal for writing is To get all my words right and to  get my spelling correct and do lots of spelling at home.This is important because  So I can get good er in writing.The steps I will take to achieve my goal will be  writing every day

My goal for Reading  is  To Read lots of books  at home and to sound out the hard words I don't know.

Week One Maths Activity.

WALT use  non-standard measures to find the area of a shape

In our group we had to drew a shape. And after we drew a shape we had to estimate how many people could  fit in the shape. We said 5 but our estimation was wrong.  We had to draw our shape on the ground. We had to estimate and had to check   .

Oh no,Bro!

So,you are telling me that you  don’t know the importance  of  washing  our hands?

Washing our hands is important  because of the germs that we can easily pass on to other people.

Don’t you feel sorry when the other person gets your  germs?

He or she can get sick ,by having a runny nose, coughing , and the flu.

So don’t spread your germs because in this way, we can keep the Doctors away!                                                                                                                                                    

We have been learning to wash our hands.I learnt this because I was able to write a Rap about Washing our Hands.

In room 5 we hand to draw a under water sea creatures I wanted to draw a shack so I look on the chrome book and i found a shack So I wanted to draw it then we  hand to draw it on a big paper and hand to draw our sea creatures big and this is what I draw on a big piece of paper we were learning to bend colors using pastel.I know  light to  dark 

 I am learning to create a simile about my digital life I know I can do this when i compare my digital life to a plane trip. This is my drawing.

   Room 5 are learning to say our name in Maori so we made a presentation in Maori and English. I know my mihi when I can introduce myself in Maori and English. This is my presentation.

 

How To Wash Your Hands.

  

In room 5 we have to wash our hand properly and to not spread the germs to anyone. We had to do a

presentation so we remember to wash our hand and how you wash your hands correctly.  I know I can wash my hands correctly when I follow the instructions on my presentation.

we have been  learning to record our positive  Digital footprint by looking at our history. We have  recorded stuff we have been doing on our chromebooks for 24 hour.

A.F.L

Yesterday room 5 went to the hall to do A.F.L. We had to do a warm up. After that we had to pick our partners.Then We had to practice the chess mark for a little while. I know I can do a chest mark when I put my hands to my chest then catch the ball. After that we played a game of Sponge Bob vs Patrick where we had to kick the ball and somebody has to catch the ball and when you catch the ball you get a point for your team.

Graces.

We are learning about graces of anointing of the sick. These are some of the special graces that I drew and wrote down.  

Johnny's comment

We have been learning to make a smart  comment on other people blog .A smart  comment is positive, thoughtful and helpful. We leave comments that are specific.

We are creating a positive digital footprint. We are cyber smart. Her is a screen shot of a comment I left on a blog. It is a smart comment because I have used capital letters full stops and  I have been positive and ended with a question.

Room 5 Dojo

                                             

In Room5 we all have a class dojo. When we first had our dojo we were all excited and when we had a look at it we had an avatar.  I want to change mine because it looked funny, so i did. Now it looks cool. When we are bad Mes Richardson gives us negative dojo points so we have to be good and get positive dojo points. We have to reflect back about our behaviour. I need to work harder at my participating so I get more dojo points.
